Terms and Conditions

Confirmation

To guarantee your booking we will confirm your reservation by writing in the post, or email. We will also require a cheque cleared before arrival as a non-refundable deposit of the first night's stay. Overseas visitors advice given when booking. The remainder of account is to be settled on departure. At present we can only accept cheques supported by a valid cheque card, sterling travellers cheques or cash, on departure.

Cancellation policy

We require seven working days written advance notice of any cancellation. If shorter or no notice is given the deposit will be retained. If however, we are able to re-let to another customer we will only charge for any shortfall. Every reasonable effort is made to re-let the room in the event of a short notice cancellation.

Check in/out times

Immediate occupancy of the rooms cannot be guaranteed before 4p.m.on the day of arrival. Please let us know if you intend to arrive late in the evening. Rooms should be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure unless alternative arrangements have been made.

No smoking

Greenbrae Bed and Breakfast is strictly non smoking within the rooms or house but guests are free to smoke outside.

Pets

Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate dogs within the house, except guide dogs. Owners may bring dogs if they are happy to be left in the vehicle. Other pets by agreement.
